A cappella (voice without instruments)

A cappella music is a group or solo performance without any instrumental accompaniment. When referring to it, the traditional spelling is the Italian one, a cappella: two words, two Ps, two Ls.

Instrumental (instruments without voice)

A group or solo performance where a one or more musical instruments are used without any vocal accompaniment. Beatboxing or other mouth and voice simulations of musical instruments may not be used for this choice.
