MISERLOU – Caroline Campbell & William Joseph (feat Tina Guo) – EXOTIC EXPLOSIVE Pulp Fiction Song

Put the Bordeaux blend back on the rack, tiptoe over to the deep freeze and bring out your best, chilled vodka with a dash of red bull

DOWNTOWN–PETULA CLARK

Petula Clark started her career during World War 2 as a child entertainer. She has performed live and in shows and as a recording artist. She is also a composer and sings in French and English.
This song shot to the top of the charts in the early 1960’s and has always been a favourite of mine. There have been a number of covers of this song, both orchestral and vocal, but nobody does it better than she does. At 85 she was still performing and composing.
Petula is now 88, has a positive outlook on life and refuses to dwell on the past
I have chosen her most iconic song and I hope that you enjoy it. “DOWNTOWN” composed by TonyHatch

Ed Sheeran – Perfect

This is my choice for tonight. One of my utmost favourites👌enjoy

Wilfred

Vance Joy – ‘Riptide’

After much research to find a deeper meaning and substance for this song, I found none. Even the artist admits that the words “Just came to him” without having any particular meaning.
It is just a funky tune for a Sunday afternoon.
Enjoy!

Carpenters – Superstar

My song is by The Carpenters.

My wife is so awesome I only have one word for her. Superstar!

Natasha Romanoff || River

Just a quick explanation about my “song” this afternoon. It actually has nothing to do with the music but more about the beautiful and very amazing scenery.

Passenger | Survivors

My song today is by Passenger.
The chorus is just reaching out to people asking, ‘Is anybody else completely baffled and terrified by the world we live in?’

BAMBOLEO – Gipsy Kings • Antonio Banderas, Katya Virshilas

This song has just so much happiness associated with it. I absolutely love Gypsey Kings – their songs instantly make me happy. Their songs also bring back many good memories of enjoying great company and great continental food with dear friends at restaurants. Then there is the dancing that makes my soul come alive and boy do I love a sexy Tango!!! I loved this movie – Take the Lead – then there’s Antonio Banderas – need I say more ladies…? and as if that’s not enough – there is even a bit of beautiful scenery for the boys (man she’s got a cute butt)…
Enjoy all!

Parrish&Toppano “cello”

Paul Parrish an American singer, songwriter & pianist joined Lorenzo Toppano and recorded 2 albums. They were quite famous in Europe, mostly Germany. Cello is from the 1st album, The Royal Falcon 1987. Sorry, they don’t seem to have live video! Really enjoyed their music and have both albums😉

Zosia

Helene Fischer, Tom Jones – Sexbomb

This singer has improved with age and so “I can give it to you”

Karen

Faith Hill & Carlos Santana – Breathe

Goo Goo Dolls – Iris

The Goo Goo Dolls are an American rock band formed in 1986.

Lead Goo Johnny Rzeznik wrote this song for the movie City Of Angels, where it is sung from the perspective of Nicolas Cage’s character. In the film, Cage plays an angel sent to help humans make their transition to the afterlife. When he falls in love with a human (played by Meg Ryan), he must choose between love and eternal life.

“Iris” eventually became one of the Goo Goo Dolls’ biggest and most recognisable hits, eclipsing the movie it was written for.

Anne Murray & Jann Arden: Insensitive

During a lifetime love affair with music, you do find some heroes. (Digression for the picky among you – I use heroes here is the non-gender-specific form). I got serious about collecting music after I started working and bought my first records and tapes in the ’70s. An artist I loved then is the Canadian Anne Murray – and she is still a hero. In looking for a song from her to play tonight I found one were she is the backing singer in a duet with Jann Arden, another famous Canadian singer with her most famous song ‘Insensitive’, released in 1994. It’s a sad song of rejected love by an insensitive man. (Very, very rare for a man to be like that). Enjoy!
